I go to plenty of concerts, but so far, I've yet to go to any this year.

My first of the year may be Steven Malkmus & The Jicks on March 23, unless I decide to go see Lita's faggy punk band this Sunday for shits and giggles.

You English types should have plenty to talk about, unless you're fags/are too cool for concerts.

I’ve been to plenty of concerts, but not since The Prodigy in 2006. To say they made Slayer, Pantera and Sepultura look soft is an understatement; it was by far the hardest and heaviest performance I’ve seen (and I’ve been unfortunate enough to attend some truly mind numbing death metal concerts over the years with my brother). Not band for a dance act.

Tool were phenomenal. No need to jump around like a retard, just stand back and appreciate brilliantly gifted musicians doing their thing.

I’d love to see Guns N Roses, but I don’t know what the fuck is happening with them.

Going to see Josh Ritter soon with any luck. Nothing else planned but supposedly Leonard Cohen is touring this year for the first time in about 15 years, so hopefully I'll get tickets for that too if he comes to the UK.

I've no idea what's going on in Canterbury, and I'm far too pigheaded to travel to London for a concert. However, I'm contemplating heading up to Margate to see The Amber Herd around April time.

I've been to nothing, never ever before. Not a single concert, because, as it happens, no one comes to Hereford because we're all a bunch of backwards country bumpkins.

I'd like to see a improvising blues-rock band as good as the Allman Brothers, though, just to get taken away to a wonderful place with the music, and it doesn't matter where they play...

I went to see The Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Blonde Redhead, Les Savy Fav, and Wild Light on my birthday. It was the greatest show I've ever seen.

Arcade Fire is INCREDIBLE live. I hope they come back soon.

LCD Soundsystem was also incredible. It was my first time listening to the band and it blew me away.

Blonde Redhead was good, but the bass was so fucking loud you can hardly hear the lyrics.

Les Savy Fav was fucking awesome. The lead singer is hilarious.

Wild Light. Meh.

That's one hell of a show Andy. Fuck. The only one I don't really like is Arcade Fire, but they've got energy live, and I love the other four bands.

You seen Of Montreal yet? You seriously need to.

I have not seen them yet, but I really want to. Once they come back to NYC, I'll check them out.

The last concert I attended, wasn't really a concert so much as me wanting to see Night of the Living Dead in the theater and having to sit through five or six awful bands first. It was only $5 so I can't complain much.

I was totally planning to go see Winger, just so I could claim to have seen them, but they were actually selling tickets opposed to just getting in for the door cover as I assumed, lame. Aside from that there's not much coming up aside from Louis XIV and Jens Lekman.

I plan to see DMB, Hootie, Fantomas (or any other Mike Patton Project), Portishead, The Wailers, Melvins, Alanis (If she tours, which she might. Though, I'd only see it if it were cheap.)

Anyone else that comes along would be nice too.

I don't give a fuck what anyone says, Hootie and the Blowfish made some good music. Their first CD was quality stuff. I'd sure as hell go see them.

Anyone want a real blast from the past in the mid-90s, we just had a concert at my college 2 weeks ago with Third Eye Blind. They were pretty damn good live. I don't care what anyone says, reminiscing about the 90s is very enjoyable.

The only concert I've had the pleasure of going to was Ozzfest '06. I'll probably go again this year. My buddy wants me to this concert called Pageanfest, but it sounds dodgy to me. And I think Rage is playing in Baltimore in the fall, so I'll probably go to that as well.

I'd see 3EB if they'd come anywhere near here.

Also, Hootie made consistently fun, and good music. Their last album was my album of the year for 2005.

Only if you plan to kill him.

Otherwise, such a venture would be completely and utterly pointless . . .

Wrong.

I went to see Vanilla Ice in a crappy little Liverpool pop club and it was the greatest concert of my life.

Soulja Boy is obviously not as awesome as Vanilla Ice, but with a few more laughably awful singles, who knows?

I didn't get to hear their newest album, I should check it out.

3EB was great live, Stephen Jenkins is a very good singer. Kinda pissed they didn't play Blinded from their last CD, but they play a lot of stuff off their first CD. It's a very good show, I'd recommend it Bo.

Josh Ritter was quality. Dawn Landes supported; I doubt anyone will hear of her for a while but she is brilliant. And probably the hottest woman I've ever met.

Now I've got Oceansize, Glenn Hughes and Leonard Cohen coming up over the course of the year. Maybe Kill Hannah again but they're more my mate's thing than mine.

Where do you go to school? I was at a 3EB concert sometime last month at Loyola College in Baltimore. Didn't play Blinded too.
