After the 3.9 Raw drew last week, they hit a 3.3 this week.

It would've been stupid to think the McMahon storyline could have had a lasting impact, however I wasn't expecting a number this low. That is, if it's legit.

I wouldn't say HUGE, it was a .6 drop. If they're still doing a 3.3 next week, maybe then it'll be something worth reporting.

Ratings would have skyrocketed if it were Stevie.

Until Raw starts doing Impact ratings, it won't be considered HUGE.

I still think it's a fluke and they'll be back up to 3.7 - 3.9 range next Monday.

If not...*shrug* Lulz for WWE.

If WWE really doesn't care about TNA (which they shouldn't) comparisons shouldn't be made to Impact.

They're both wrestling shows, there will always be comparisons. Stop being a fag. I'm glad Robocop blew you away.

Nah, typically they only drop ten percent for MNF.

Coincidentally, TNA never drops viewers, but that's because they only people watching iMPACT are stupid and poor. Hence having a constant viewership of one million, and getting 20-30k buyrates.

Monday Night Football.

Same case the week before, and they still had some solid ratings.

Hornswoggle = ratings = NO!

Why do people put so much stock in the ratings? I mean its not like they're gonna go out of business tomorrow or anything.

I mean, I'll admit that its a bit worrysome, but not so much as people say.

Also, I'm eager to see what goes on with TNA and its 2 hour time slot.

Last weeks MNF games had teams that don't have very large fanbases outside of their areas.

There are a lot of Philly fans all over the country.

I'm not saying it is the only factor, but it certainly is a factor.

As I’ve said on countless occasions; television is just another source of revenue.

I don’t know what the average RAW rating has been for 2007, but it will need to drop well bellow 3.3 before there’s a noticeable financial change. A yearly average of 3.3 will amount to roughly the same amount of revenue as last year - probably a couple of million dollars less.

Merchandise sales will probably see a twenty million dollar increase on last year.

Bullshit. The MNF drop is three, maybe four percent.

Raw did a 3.3 rating and that was cause for major concern today when it came out. I guess the Hornswoggle stuff didn't have the pull they expected. Seriously, most of it is because NFL costs them 10% and it happens this time every year, and people always overreact. It's not like a few months back when they were doing similar numbers during the traditionally strong summer period.

This number really doesn't surprise me.

Last week ended any mystery to the summer's big angle, which of course more people will tune in to see. Also, MNF had a stronger audience this week than last. I'm sure some wrestling fans tuned into football and maybe taped/DVR'd Raw instead. Lastly, WWE just came off of a PPV that I haven't heard one positive thing about. I can't see very many people tuning into Raw to see the aftermath of an event nobody liked.

And to be completely honest, the only thing Raw did on Monday was give us an OD of McMahon/Hornswoggle, have HHH destroy the two top tag teams by himself, and have Randy Orton once again assault John Cena's dad. From what I've discussed with friends, feedback on wrestling websites from fans, and review/reports from PWI, WO & The Torch, nobody liked Monday's show.

Oh, your fagginess gives me mad strength.

RAW on 9/3 drew a 3.64 rating and 5.34 million viewers. USA is now available in 96 million homes, so total viewership should be way up even if ratings stay the same.

RAW on 8/27 (Sci-Fi) drew a 3.21 rating and 4.1 million viewers.

So you'll notice that although it only went up .45, they actually went up by 20%.

Furthermore, the week before that was a 3.8 rating with 5.3 million viewers. This one is possibly erroneous, as it did the same quarters and same demos as the week before.

Previous to those two - 3.81 with a 5.27 viewership. Higher share, lower viewership.

But LOOK. A 3.8 rating one week has more viewers than a 3.64 two weeks later. A ten percent decrease in viewership can mean anything depending on a weekly basis. Holding the share up and spouting off about the dip shows how fucking ill-informed you are.

Your continued jibba-jabba is frankly tiring. Looking up simplistic numbers and doing basic maths and then waving it around like you're a fucking genius would be fine, except you didn't bother to do the research behind it.
