Since when has it become acceptable to attempt to ask for a date through Myspace or online period? Seriously not cool.

Becuase MySpace is full of horny geeks. Really, I don't see the point in it.

Agreed x2.

Given how developed cgi technology has become, and how originality is no longer "in" thse days, if I were a movie producer I'd think this is a great time for a Moby Dick remake, since there haven't been any theatrical releases after the Peck version, which relied on models.

I say it'd be awesome if done right. Who would you all cast as Ishmael and Ahab?

It'd make sense, but it'd have to be advertised in a certain way to attract mainstream audiences.

I hate CGI btw, but it'd make sense to make one.

I figure if LOTR could make all that money, Moby Dick could. It'd have to be a similar big-budget type movie, and with popular actors in those two roles, it could probably hold its own on one of the hollidays.

Did they already do one with Patrick Stewart? Or was that just for TV?

Yeah, it was a tv movie, and I hear they used a rubber whale in many scenes.

Anyway, Im thinking maybe Christian Bale as Ishmael.

Yeah, so, today is a dark day in the life of Don Carlos . . .

My best friend, and brother from another mother named Nick (aka Smirnoffgriffin), broke up with his fiance Kristin. The thing is, she's also a really good friend of mine (as I've pointed out in various other threads), and now I'm worried that I'll have to take sides.

Needless to say, alcohol isn't enough to make this situation easier to comprehend, let alone react to. If anyone has some help that they'd like to offer me in this trying time, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, fucking pray for me . . .

Never EVER EVER take sides. It never leads to anything good. I almost lost a really good friend that way. You should always stay a friend to both, and explain it that way if one asks you to take a side.

That's the direction I was going to take, but I'm worried that Nick might feel a little offended if I break it to him like that.

Either way, it feels like I'm in a lose-lose situation. She tells me she loves me, and I reciprocate, but it could ultimately lead to the disintegration of a 10 year friendship if they don't work things out to the degree that they will still tolerate each others company . . .

Don, I think your only option is to move away and become a monk, keep in mind the orange robes are totally hot. Otherwise Joker's right, stay out of it as much as possible and cut them off when one of them starts to complain about the other.

No no no, it's because Scrooge mcDuck denied Quasimoto a loan to make up for his in the red NewsRadio station.

What an ass, did he send his goons, Huey, Dewey and Louie to attack the poor guy also?

What do TNA have against Shelly Martinez? Amazing Kong got to debut on iMPACT, Talia Madison, Angel Williams and ODB at least got some interview time on TNA Today but my Shelly got zip. If TNA fans were exposed to her Goddess-like visage without paying for the privilege, would they spontaneously combust?

I'm sure there are ways to see her goddess like visage without paying...

Now that you say that...

From the Wrestling Observer, "Shelly Martinez (ex-Ariel in ECW) will be shooting an adult film in Los Angeles through Platinum Jewel, a porn company owned by Jewel De'Nyle."
