I've been on a bit of a rhythm game kick lately, most notably with Ouendan and Taiko No Tatsujin DS 2. Good stuff. |

Just got done playing Rock Band. It was decent. Thankfully my brother had a lot of Deep Purple downloaded, making it tolerable. Anyways, Darth, are you going to get Haze? |

No Rock Band makes Darth a sad man. Though I could import it - won't be as bad now. As for Haze, I've been thinking about it, but I haven't made a decision. One side says I should get it out of loyalty (the guys who made Haze made Timesplitters - which fucking rocks), but the other says I shouldn't because of the time I played it back in November - which wasn't all that hot. Then again, I hear the game is radically different since then. Long story short, I'll probably rent it. It'll take a lot to convince me to buy it. Yourself Bill? |

seeing someone trying to do pushups, pretend to hoola hoop and run on the spot and you try not to laugh at how stupid and unco they look. Same with sonic and mario at the olympic games - particularly the swimming events. |

You paid $120 for that but won't pay $20 for most PPV events? |

I eventually paid the $20 for wrestlemania at the last second. And would you part with the money for a PPV like Backlash? Or Judgment Day? Plus, Wii Fit will kill my boredomfor the next year at least, unlike a barely two and a half hour PPV. |

Me? No. I can't afford $60. $20 is a pizza and some beer though. Also, I probably would have for Judgment Day...wasn't home for it though. Buy good games. For your $120, you could have gotten Smash Brothers and Mario Kart. You might already have them. I have the ability to download/burn games though, so I spend nothing. What do I know? |

Matt, are you into any other fighting game? Just curious. SSBB comes out here next month March. Though I do find it hard to believe that someone didn't like the 64 game. Fucking classic... |

I didnt say I didnt like it - I just dont see what all the fuss is about when it came out - and the sequals aswell. I played it @ my mates house the day he got it {on 64 and gamecube} - I was like "meh." Yer Tekken 3 I was obsessed with, but tekken tag kept me occupied for about 1/2 hour. SD! vs RAW I play constantly. I really wanted to get into Mortal Kombat, but gave up. So off the top of my head....nope. Secondly, March doesnt like the GH games, whereas I fuckin love em!!!! Go figure DH.

Mario is gay. Anyways, I'm still playing NHL 08. And Darth, I'm just waiting on some reviews (Haze). |

I've heard many a good thing about NHL 08. Worth tracking down a copy? If you're waiting on reviews Bill, I don't think you're going to like what you see. IGN gave it a less than average score. Then again, these are the same people who criminally underrated God Hand. |

Quick! Tell me something that Raw vs. SmackDown! has in common with real fighting games like Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Soul Caliber, or Tekken? If you answered nothing, you'd be correct, because Raw vs. SmackDown! has been classified as a sports title since oh, the days of the Acclaim WWE games and has NOTHING in common with fighting games. River City Ransom, Final Fight and Grand Theft Auto let the players take fighting into their own hands, but are also, shockingly if we're going by your criteria (which never seems to be your own), are not considered fighting games. |
