I was just using him as an example, dude. He's a young, up-and-coming superstar, who will be around far longer than the amount of time in which Finlay's in-ring tenure lasts, so why not push him in that direction? Besides, I never tried to dispute Finaly's skill; I'm just trying to make the point that he doesn't deserve to be in the same match twice in a row. He will never be a World Champion in the WWE, either, whereas Carlito may very well reach that pinnacle somewhere down the line. They can at least start grooming him for the forseeable future, and a place in the MITB match . . . whether he were to win, or not . . . would most certainly help. It wasn't my idea to place Carlito in a qualifying match, to begin with, either; so get the fuck over yourself. It's not like I'm just pulling names out of my ass, or anything, either . . . so stow the 'tude Nexty. K? |

Not ganging up on you Don, but the same reason you hate Orton, is the same reason we hate Carlito, bad attitude. |

Bad attitude? I'm sorry, but when was the last time you heard about 'Lito taking a shit in someone's handbag . . . or smoking a joint backstage . . . or violating the wellness policy? I think what you should be trying to say is that he sometimes acts as though he has a lack of passion for the business; but, if you were being treated in the manner that he has been over the past few months, wouldn't you have a bad attitude/lack of passion, as well? I can tell you with most certainty that I would. Sure; he may not put on the best in-ring display, but it's not like I'm claiming that he has. All I'm trying to do is suggest that his place in the MITB match is already more than warranted over certain other individuals, and that he should be given a chance to shine. It would, if nothing else, hopefully silence all the critics; or at least make them see his persona in a whole new light . . . |

I have to agree with Don. WWE Creative is mucking this MITB match. Perfect 8: Edge Matt Hardy Jeff Hardy CM Punk Shelton Benjaman Charlie Haas Finlay Carlito You've got more than enough ring talent there to make for a great match. And it'll mean more if someone other than Edge wins. Any one of them could be a shock. I'd pull for Matt Hardy, personally. As for NL's comment about Carlito doing bollocks this year - well, considering that most of the wrestlers are at the mercy of what Creative is willing to give them in the way of spotlight, I'd say they're more to blame than Carlito. He has the ability to work with others, they just have to pair him up against someone to help him shine. I think that's one of the problems. Most of the wrestlers are so paranoid about making themselves look like gold they're not considering the other man. It takes two to tango. If they were smart, after WM they should hire Carlito's brother (I forget his name) and the two of them could make a decent tag team for Raw. Hell, it worked for Los Guerreros, it can work for the Colons. heh. Colons. |

What did I say to warrant that kind remark, Bill? I'm just trying to discuss something with you to the best of my abilities; nothing more. It's not like I'm intentionally dissing you, or anything of that nature . . . |

I can assure you my words were/are only in jest. But back to Carlito, and Orton. I think both are undeserving, and both have a poor attitude, and are disrespectful to the business. That's all I'm trying to convey. |

This calls for a sexy party! *Don pulls a boat captain's hat out from the waistband of his pants, places it atop his head, and runs around in circles; all whilst chasing several scantily clad hookers, until they all stop to perform a simultaneous running man. Don then places a corncob pipe in the left corner of his mouth, chomps down on the end, and takes a puff* Now . . . where were we? |

I agree with all that Don, JBB and Bill has said, but the fact remains fella's that WWE creative are short sighted when it comes to matches like this. They book the winner, then a couple of people who will come close, then all the rest they book are people who they have nothing else for, or they consider to be able to make the one's they are pushing look good, hence the inclusion of Finlay. And despite the fact I don't hate Orton as much as you guy's (although I don't be any stretch of the mind think he's good), I still think he'll win it, or be one of the two that will come close; my reasoning being that I feel Edge and Orton will feud over the title shot after mania. I mean, I know WWE aren't exactly innocent of hinting at a feud then not running with it, but I can't see why they would have all this tension between the two for weeks now without some kind of future payoff somewhere down the line. |
