Splashing Rain by Amy Jo Johnson

Amazing song, off an even more amazing album.

Is there a cover of the Power Rangers theme on there? There should be.

Lighthouse Family - Lifted

The guitar part is so simple yet a beautiful opening for just a beautiful song.

Nope, that'd be cool though.

Not only is she a serious artist, she's seriously good.

I haven't enjoyed a female album this much since I first heard Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette.

"Cupids Chokehold" - Gym Class Heros ft. Patrick Stump

A really catchy tune, and one of GCHs most played songs thanks to Patrick (Fall Out Boy) lending in the vocals, a song to look out for just to listen to.

"This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race" Fall Out Boy

The single worst song I have ever heard in my life, and I have no idea why I listened to this steaming pile of shit. It was torture.

Yeah!!

Wait...

*Thinks* This ain't a scene... */Thinks*

DAMN IT.

I actually thought it was "This ain't a scene, it's the worst joke ever", a combination of Fall Out Boy and R.E.M.. OH GOD!! That's just horrrrrrible.

Anyway. Drawing the line, there.

-------------------------------------------------------

Pink Floyd - "Hey You"

I challenged myself to listen to The Wall all the way through without thinking negative thoughts towards the album, when it's compared to anything prior to this in the Floyd catalogue.

So far, I'm winning.

Of course, I challenged myself. So ambiguity prevails.

Am I thinking negatively?

Or am I not?

...

You'll never know.

N.B. I'm not.

Self-conversation is bliss.

I will do one worst

Tila Tequila - I Love U

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUxviLaRCWU (watch at your own risk)

While I am a fan of Tila's work as a model, this song is just too god-awful for words. Hell, I couldn't even sit through the whole song the first few times around.

The Temptations-The Way You Do

The heyday of Motown music. Makes me think of the Temptations movie, and of a simpler time, and even though it had its problems, perhaps a better time?

What I've Done - Linkin Park

New single from Linkin Park. Horrible (not a terrible song, but VERY generic) in contrast to their early work. The music is nice listening, but the lyrics do nothing for me

Listening to it again and it is actually very good when I think about it.

The video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sgycukafqQ ) is very powerful when you watch it with the song.

Sexx Laws - Beck

The video has an appearance by Jack Black. The therapy session is pretty funny. The song itself is catchy, has a great beat: typical Beck

"Question of U" (Live in Tokyo)- Prince

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aaP4KA9IJgg

Typical Prince perfromance: he begins with a beautiful, chilling piano intro, starts singing, throws in a sick guitar solo and some sexually suggestive pantomimes, and finish strong. A great display of just how talented and dedicated to his performances this man is.

Makes you think you can do anything. A must in any athlete or politician's playlist. "In the Zone" music if there ever was any.
