Nelly - Fly Away This is off The Longest Yard soundtrack. Never generated much attention. It is a great song. About a man (Nelly) in prision (hence based on Longest Yard), and how it is there, and how he wants to get away from it. Great song, and the lyrics and music is good. Tupac - Wonder Why They Call U Bitch One of my favorite songs. It's about a girl that he knows, and she is presumably a whore, and he is telling her all the reasons while giving examples of things she's done in her life, of why all the other guys call her bitch. Great lyrics and it flows nicely. |

Buckcherry - Everything One of their best songs. This song has a lot of interpretations. I personally kind of see the girl just getting over a long relationship and him having feelings for her. She is breaking down and doesn't want to let go of her ex. And he finds it hard to look at her because he can see she is going through the breakup hard and wants her to have everything. The last verse about keeping your eyes open is him basically trying to tell her that she deserves so much better and could have anything she wants if she tries instead of wanting to settle for the guy who dumped her. |

Massive Attack- "Protection" I stumbled across this accidentally, and it makes a great addition in my quest for more good chillout grooves. Nobody does mellow electronica quite like the Brits. I've resolved recently to add alot more trip-hop/acid jazz stuff to my library. |

The Who-Baba O' Riley Great track, and I'm sure everyone has heard this song even if they don't know the name of it (like me). Heard it on movies, commercials and almost everything. Anyway, one of the Who's best tracks IMHO, but I haven't heard but 5 tracks from the Who so take that for what you will. |

Fat Joe - "Breathe & Stop" (w The Game) I've never really liked Fat Joe, but his last couple of songs have really started to impress me; this one in particular. He has a good, solid flow throughout the song, and for once he doesn't spend the entire three minutes and forty three seconds talking about "bitches" (which I personally can't stand; you know who you are, Twista). I've heard conflicting reports that he may or may not require the services of a ghostwriter, but the lyrics spouted by the big man on this track would make that claim pretty easy to believe. Of course, it doesn't hurt that there's a cameo by THE GAME . . . which is, no lie, the main reason for my enjoyment whilst giving this a listen. I give it a 7 out of 10. Peace . . .

The Alchemist - "Hold You Down" (w Illa Ghee, Nina Sky, & Prodigy Of Mobb Deep) Not much is known about this white man they call The Alchemist, but he's a hell of a producer. The beat to this song is one of the best I've ever heard, the background singers are extraordinary, and the lyrics, which some would probably declare as typical & uninspired, all flow together perfectly in synchronization with the bars of music behind them. Needless to say, this joint is HOT~! Peace bitches . . .

The Pink Floyd - "A Saucerful of Secrets" - Live at Pompeii I can't see this (it's from a film where they play in the ruins of the Pompeiinean Ampitheatre), but aurally it's bliss. The section after the Syncopated Pandemonium of the drum bashing, cymbal murder and screeching slide guitar, known colloquially as Storm Signal (it was of typical pretentiousness to split songs up into sections and give them individual titles in the progressive era of the late 60s and early 70s) is played in the most impressive way I think that exists. In other live performances it would have more of an edge to it, combining the organ with a Gilmour guitar riff and more of tha bass. But this strips it down, only having Rick play his shit, and there you go. The last sentence had me realising you're not going to bother reading this, so the fuck am I doing writing this out. I could call you a dong. You're a dong. This is a fucking brilliant song, but you're a dongheaded dong licker. Will I get a response. Purposeful ommiting of the question mark, so not to draw too much attention to it. I doubt it. so What oh Great One?! Well, I care if I don't get at least a reading of something I've spent ages to write. And anyway, the time has gone, the song is over. I thought I'd something more to say . . . |

Weird Al Yankovic-Can't watch this MC Hammer is too easy of a target. Pretty good song, but not Al's best work. Next Song: Rick Ross-Hustlin Weird transision, anywho, good song. Better for actual hustlers. But awesome to turn up if you're just ridin around and chillin. |

"Whatever" by Our Lady Peace I hate to disagree with Don, but this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=m-4i9-MuusU is the best entrance theme ever (not including "The Game", or "My Time"). But "Glass Shatters" does rock the shit. |

It's OK, Bill. I quite like that one, too. 'Suits Benoit pefectly, even. And, yes, "Glass Shatters" does rock the shit. Fact: Despite my immense hatred of HHH, I used to MARK~ for "My Time". Coincidently, I used to be a fan of his, back then, as well . . . |

Yung Dro-Shoulder Lean Yet another in the line of hip hop songs including a dance for those that can't dance. Good song, good for dances and getting a girl dancing on you in the club. In all honesty if you can't do the Shoulder Lean, there's a serious problem. |

Next song: Andre 3000-Hey Ya May be corny, but me and my friend quote this song frequently. Andre 3000 can make anybody wanna dance |

Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division Listening to some Joy Division under the guidance of Brighty. I have to say Curtis' voice is pretty haunting. Matched with the lyrics it's painfully truthful. |
