Oh wow. Fuck me.

Shame that I'm actually going tonight to see it with some mates. I guess we can find ways to make the experience more enjoyable.

So yeah, I just came back from seeing it. Was okay. Lots of stupid humour and explosions (hurr michael bay durr), but I had more fun before and after it.

I know if I want to see it at an IMAX theater, or any theater in the city on opening week, book that shit in advance.

I had lots of fun before it. After, I was sorry to see my $15 (IMAX) go towards something I had trouble staying awake for.

Rented the Friday the 13th remake, W, and Swing Vote last night

I thought Swing Vote was pretty good. Some parts were a bit contrived, but all in all a good movie.

W was a good piece of filmmaking by Oliver Stone, its funny, because the parts that you think are bad writing are the parts taken from actual Bush speeches....

Friday the 13th was exactly what I expected. Lots of boobs, blood, and annoying teenagers for Jason to kill. I was rooting for him the entire time to kill each and every one of them, because they were so retarded and annoying.

Movie pass is fun, I will probably be renting more in the coming days..

I paid $15 AUD just to see the fucking movie in a regular ass theater that claims to have a huge screen. Because there were so many people, we got stuck in the front row. Not the best way to see it, lemme tell you.

And yet you still thought it was decent. I'm stunned.

Put it this way. The worst movies I've seen in theaters are Epic Movie and AVP2: Requiem. I spent MONEY on those, thanks to bets from friends to sit through both. Epic Movie made me want to kill myself, and I probably would've liked AVP had I been able to see what the fuck was going on.

I won't deny that the movie has so many fucking problems. Yes it runs too long. Yes the plot is stupid. Yes the movie forgets about characters for long periods of time. And god yes, the twins are the worst CG characters in a movie since Jar Jar Binks.

Compared to these two, Transformers was like the fucking Godfather. But here's the kicker.

People applauded it.

I'm dead serious. Once the credits started rolling, people were FUCKING APPLAUDING IT LIKE IT WAS A WORK OF GENIUS.

I know. Same thing happened at my theater.

I also paid good money to see AVP 2. That movie also wasn't a huge fucking blockbuster that cost $200 mil. to make. It bombed, and the studio responsible has since learned it's lesson.

You're on your own with Epic Movie. Most people have the good sense to stay the fuck away from that.

Transformers 2 has no ground to stand on. It's one of the worst of the decade.
