Twentynine Palms. One of the best films I've ever seen. 10/10. |

Watchmen online because I'm too much of a cheap bastard to see it again in theaters. Then after this, Two Hands. Most UNDERRATED Ledger film ever. It's funny as hell when he tries to rob a bank to pay back the mob and his partner gets knocked the fuck out and Ledger is like, "WAKE UP! DON'T LEAVE ME ALL ALONE!" So everybody, who was intimidated by Ledger's partner the most, started standing up because they weren't threatened by Ledger and Ledger tried his damnest to keep them down even though he was an innocent young kid that didn't mean harm. I found this fucking hillarious seeing the Dark Knight during the Bank Heist scene. Except Ledger in the film purposely offed his partners instead of accidently knocking them out. |

The Other Boleyn Girl What a horrible movie. What's the point in romanticizing history? It's quite interesting as is. Natalie Portman was the only good thing about it. The costumes were shit too. |

Fucking right Two Hands is awesome. Were you watching that online also? If you were, post the link - I need to watch more Aussie movies for a class I'm taking. |

Link to the site or that particular movie? I'll just post the site. Best site ever. Watchmen was up the first day it was out in pretty good quality. http://www.watch-movies-links.net/ Enjoy, all. |

After Hours. Might be my favourite Scorsese film. |

You're right. It barely even has a cult following. The other "underappreciated" film of his I want to see is Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. |

Panic Room. I've been meaning to see it again for years. In fact, I only saw it one time, in theaters, because Spider-Man was sold out. When I saw it, Jodie Foster was pretty much solidified as my favorite actress. Seven years later, I still really like this film. Now that I have an appreciation for directors, I'd probably call it David Fincher's best. It's such a smart fucking movie. Good cast. Good writing. Not a single wasted shot. This is probably the best movie I've ever pulled from the dollar bin. |

Really? I thought it was his worst. Although like you I haven't seen it for years. Seen Zodiac? Now that is his best. |

Fell asleep. Been meaning to see it again though. I'm a sucker for movies with ominous scores and writing that knows the genre. When Foster is going around smashing security cameras, one of the robbers goes "Why didn't we think of that?" Awesome. Alien 3 is Fincher's worst, but it looks nice. |

Just got done watching Wanted and Choke. Wanted was actually a surprising good movie, much better than I would expect from what I saw in previews. And Choke was incredibly disappointing, don't even bother. Now I'm watching Slumdog Millionaire. |

I haven't seen Seven yet. Also, I hope you meant "Wanted didn't blow dick" and not "Wanted was a good movie." Fun, but doesn't hold up to half of a second viewing before you get tired of unnecessary slow motion, James McAvoy, and everybody at the office. |

Seven's quite good actually, better than I remembered. I'm not sure if I have my chronology right but I don't think Freeman had previously played the Alex Cross-type character he'd do twice again, so Fincher deserves credit for getting something new out of him if that's the case. But his childishly dark-and-scummy aesthetic drags. It's not as bad as in Fight Club but man, there's aiming for auteur status and then there's being a one-trick pony. I see Zodiac as his coming of age film, or at least I did until Benjamin Button, which looks like a return to the dark old days. |

My expectations were probably so low that when I found out it was a decent movie it blew my mind. |

Something about the way Benjamin Button ended rubbed me the wrong way. |
