Arthur Strode
History Professor
Early Thursday morning, on a chillin January day, the unthinkable happened. Our beloved Hogwarts was attacked by a group we only know as"The Dark Force." According to a select few Aurors, this group has been gathering for a while, but had not caused any 'real trouble.' Well it appears that the real trouble has come, readers. Hogwarts has fallen, and with it, our future. The youth of the Wizarding World.

Sighing, Arthur turned away from the outdated Daily Prophet on his desk. It was the first issue after the attacks, and the History Professor had not been able to discard it, and it was now months later. He had brought it with him to Patronus Academy as a reminder of why he was there, and what they were all fighting for. As he stood up, the palms of his hands resting slightly on the polished wood, he thought of everything that had happened in the past eight months. Hogwarts was gone, taken over by the foulest creatures of the wizarding world. The dementors. He had never seen one, nor had felt its affects, until a month after the attack, but he had read enough on them to know they were truly horrible. The Ministry fell in the same day, the Minister found dead in his office. This lead to most of the Ministry employees leaving, Arthur included. He would be the first one to say the Ministry was important to keep under their control, but the Order had all of the resources they would need. Raid after raid, the Order attempted to break through the defenses of Hogwarts. The results sickened Arthur. Not one child was rescued. While several Dark Force members were killed, so were many Order members. The raids slowed to a trickle, and the plans of Patronus Academy became a reality. Ann Lightwick worked tediously, and the school was completed by the middle of the summer.

This was when he was offered a teaching position at the new school. Walking out of his office and towards the second floor, Arthur thought back to that day. Teaching was never a formed thought in his mind. Being a Historian was what he was made to be, and no one put more time and effort into it than Arthur Strode. But he was only doing work for the Order at the time when Ann said he would be perfect for the History position. The way Ann spoke about how he would be helping shape their youth and contribute to the future of the country... he would've been a fool to decline. No one said 'no' to Ann Lightwick. And now here he was, entering the Study Hall of Patronus Academy. It was his turn to watch over the students who were in there, and to help them if they needed it. This was one of his favorite times of the week, and he even boasted about it that morning to Eleanor and Virginia. His enthusiasm had not diminished, even after teaching for a month, and his colleagues were used to it by now. Sitting down in the front of the room at the Professor's desk, Arthur slung his left leg over his right, his heel resting on his knee, and opened up a book. It was the textbook that all of his teachers were assigned, and it was such a nice and light read. Perfect for study hall. He began to read, waiting patiently for the other professor that was on Study Hall duty. Kainan was it? He wasn't sure, but he knew that he would enjoy whoever it was - even if it was Rowan.
